Army Worm 12,5 ml product – 10 l water; or 

25 ml product – 10 l water for short-horn grasshoppers and crickets
  • Apply when necessary
  • Apply as a full cover spray when pest is troublesome
Ants 40 ml product – 1 l of water for spot treatment
  • Spray infested soil thoroughly
  • Also treat holes
Fruit and Pumpkin Flies 

(Apples, Pears, Apricots, Peaches, Guavas, Granadillas, Citrus and Cucurbits)

 17,5 ml product – 10 l water – 800 g sugar/20 ml protein hydrolysate for bait treatment
  • Apply as a coarse droplet spray at weekly intervals to leaf surfaces using 250 – 1000 ml bait per tree, when fruit is susceptible to attack
  • Apply to cucurbits when flowering commences. Repeat at weekly intervals
  • Apply in winter to evergreen trees on warm sunny days to reduce overwintering population. Repeat all treatments after rain

  • Preventative treatment (Red, Mussel and Circular Purple Scale): Apply at 80 – 100 % petal drop. Spray mature trees once and if necessary, in the case of young trees, apply a second application 6 – 8 weeks later. Against Soft Brown Scale apply correctively on a spot spray basis.
Tomatoes – Aphids 12,5 ml product – 10 l water

Onions – Thrips 17,5 ml product – 10 l water
  • Apply as a full cover spray when pest is noticed
  • Repeat at 7 – 10 day intervals

30 ml product – 1 l water for general application
  • Apply as a coarse droplet spray or paint on the surfaces where insects occur
Hides and Skins – Beetles and Larvae 20 ml product – 1 l water – 10 l of power paraffin
  • Apply as a coarse spray at the rate of ± 50 l solution per 600 m²
  • Pay special attention to the flesh side of hides
Poultry – Red Mites, Fleas and Lice 20 ml product – 1 l of water
  • Remove and preferably burn all litter and nest material before all surfaces in the poultry house are sprayed thoroughly
  • Remove all feed from the troughs before application and then spray them on the inside and outside
  • Poultry may also be sprayed
  • Repeat treatment after one month.
