About this weed

Fumaria muralis, also known as Pink Weed, Duiwekerwel, or just Fumitory is a winter weed in South Africa.
It is an annual herb that is hairless, branched, and dull green in color. Its stems are weak and angular, and can be 10–50 cm long. The leaves are lance to pear shaped, finely divided down to midrib, and form a rosette on young plants.
Fumaria muralis prefers to grow in open, bare patches and is considered a weed of pastures, roadsides, gardens, footpaths, coastal shrub lands, and disturbed areas.
