Requires regular watering during flowering period especially.Well-draining soil.Winter applications of complete fertiliser.Light shape pruning after flowering.
Propagate from winter hardwood cuttings.

A vigorous deciduous climber that has sprays of fragrant, lavender, pea-shaped flowers from early spring. During autumn, the stems and foliage turn yellow.
‘Plena’ has lavender flowers that are double.
