Planting position: Full sun.Ideal for areas with high summer rainfall and without severe frost.Wind-protected area.
Requires summer- and winter watering, during dry spells especially.Soil, enriched with plenty compost.Twice-a-year-applications of complete fertiliser.Shape prune lightly after flowering.
Propagate from summer- or spring semi-hardwood cuttings.

This evergreen grows fast and the faded red flower buds appear from late spring to early summer. Its starry flowers are white, shaded pink and reddish.
